Re: Delete INstan Messenger from Win 2000

Greetings,

To be fair, it's not entirely a Windows problem per se -- it's an exploit of a Windows
feature and has been considered dealt with as of XP SP2 (since the Messenger service is
disabled by default).

In Vista, the Messenger Service itself has been eliminated entirely.

PLease help. I am online with windows 2000 and I keep getting all

Instant Messenger feature?

Sorry if I have the wrong group but I am too busy deleting these
messages to do much searching.

never mind, fixed the problem. Golly I hate windows! but I have to use
it for apps being prepared for windows users.
