Greetings,
With the exception of authentication to the service, Messenger traffic is sent in plain-text,
unencrypted.
However, no magic program is going to be able to "sniff" traffic unless it's actually
following through the sniffer.

Hi all,
Recently I heard that there're some sniffer programmes that intercept
MSN text conversations. So I'm just wondering how are the latest Live
Messenger's text conversations encrypted? Or is it encrypted at all?
And how reliable are they?
Cheers!!
