Webcam not connecting

I am having problems trying to get my webcam to work with Windows Messenger
5.1. Every time I tried to send an invitation for video, it looks like is
trying to connect to another computer, but then it says that it can't
connect.

I did tried to connect with my desktop computer to my laptop in my home
network, and no problems, I saw the video from my webcam.

Any help will be gladly appreciated!
