Re: reinstall / restore

Greetings Mario,

Well, which Messenger are you talking about (Windows Messenger, MSN Messenger, Windows Live
Messenger) and which version?

If just Windows Messenger, there really isn't anything you need to backup, your account and
contacts are all saved on the Messenger server.

Hi,

I'd like to reinstall my system completely (as in restore to factory default
settings).
What I'd like to know is, do I need to backup something to "restore" my
messenger settings later on (account, contacts, ...)?
If so, what location are these datafiles in?

Tnx,
Mario
