Greetings Rob,

You need to be using Windows Live Messenger, but other than that all you have to do is add a
contact in this format:

yahooid@xxxxxxxxx

So if someone's Yahoo ID is john248, you add john248@xxxxxxxxxx Assuming they're using the
latest Yahoo, they'll get the standard add friend request and it will just work.
