I assume you mean Outlook Express? To stop this behavior, close down Outlook Express, then download and run the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/stopmessenger_oe.reg

Then start Outlook Express and Windows Messenger will no longer be integrated or start.

Every time i log into Outlook, Windows Messenger loads all my contacts from
MSN Messenger and everyone knows i am online, i have gone into tools, windows
messenger and unchecked the "Allow to run in background"....when i log off,
then back in, it reverts itself.....every single time....i cant even
uninstall windows messenger...what can i do.....i have even set it to show me
offline....but reverts itself....i never use windows messenger only MSN
messenger....i am even thinking of not using outlook again but there must be

double click on the link. If it gives you the option of Save or Run, click on Run. Otherwise save it somewhere then double-click on it.

**Note - its only for outlook EXPRESS make sure thats the program you're using.
