Re: Windows Messenger in Outlook

I assume you mean Outlook Express? To stop this behavior, close down Outlook Express, then
download and run the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/stopmessenger_oe.reg

Then start Outlook Express and Windows Messenger will no longer be integrated or start.

Every time i log into Outlook, Windows Messenger loads all my contacts from
MSN Messenger and everyone knows i am online, i have gone into tools, windows
messenger and unchecked the "Allow to run in background"....when i log off,
then back in, it reverts itself.....every single time....i cant even
uninstall windows messenger...what can i do.....i have even set it to show me
offline....but reverts itself....i never use windows messenger only MSN
messenger....i am even thinking of not using outlook again but there must be
a way round this...can you help :(
