Hi Adam,

Could you elaborate as what exactly is happening and any error codes that you may be seeing?

I have now upgraded to IE 7 and installed all the latest .NET patches and
upgrades in hope of resolving the issue with signing on. I am at a loss as
to how to fix this now. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Greetings Adam,

Unfortunately due to all the fixes available and connectivity problems being the primary
issue on this newsgroup, I assume you mean the latest ones?

Just to clarify, if Messenger is spinning around over and over when trying to sign in,
which
is the latest issue, simply shut down Messenger entirely by right-clicking on its icon in
the
notification area and choosing Exit, then download and run this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/remove_wlmpolicies.reg

Then try signing in again.

If you've already done that or are seeing something else, can you reply back with more
specifics and any error codes as that would be helpful.

I have seen a number of posted with people having trouble signing into MSN
Live. I have the same problem and have tried the suggested fixes in the
posts, but none have worked at all. I have even tried uninstalling and
reinstalling. I have another PC on the same network at it works.

I have checked the connections, done repairs, edited the registry etc....

Any more ideas on how to fix the issue?
