Re: yahoo messenger crashes

Greetings,

This is actually the Windows Messenger newsgroup so Yahoo isn't the forte here. However,
normally what you're describing is a driver issue, perhaps with the webcam or sound driver.
You might want to check the manufacturer's website for both and see if you have the latest.

Additionally, there are drivers on Windows Update (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com) if
you've not been there recently.

I have Windows XP home and am connected to the net over a broadband connection. Whenever I
begin a voice chat on yahoo messenger and whenever the person at the other end starts to
stream their webcam, my yahoo messenger crashes. Is it some xp related issue. The yahoo
messenger is the latest version. I would appreciate all help. Thanks!
