You can also try this.

Go to Start, run, then type "regedit"

Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\microsoft\MSNMessenger\Policies

Delete the key "contacts.msn.com"

Then, try launching Windows Live Messenger again.

I always log in into windows messenger, but two days ago I can´t. Many
errors appears like: error 81000395 and error 81000314. I can log in
into
hotmail and into Web messenger, but I can´t Messenger 7.5. This problems
affect to may friends in the work about 15 people more or less. Please
help
us to fix this problem, beacuse this software is very important to connect
