Send Email DIRECT to Win Live Messenger

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is a manner in which someone can send an
email direct to a Windows Live Messenger account? What I was looking
to do is have a school weather notification systems that sends out an
email to possible multiple addresses send a short note in some manner
that it would then show up directly inside the running Messenger
account. The users in this case are using messenger, however they are
not authorized to use personal email from the office - therefor, if I
can get a message to transition into Messenger, it would serve the
purpose.

I've been looking towards the dot-NET alert system and I am about to
try and investigate the new Windows Live Email service to see if it can
be used and perhaps ties into Messenger in some manner?

Thoughts, suggestions, alternatives? Any help would be highly
appreciated. Thanks for reading this.
