Do you have Messenger Plus installed? If so, it has a font override feature that may have
been engaged.
To turn it off, click the Plus! menu in the conversation window, and click Override Contact's
Font (may be listed differently depending on version).

Font of all members in the conversation appear to be plain black text in my
convo window but not on the convo window of other members of the convo or
other users on the computer. Do u o why this is?
