RE: Blue Screen with WLM 8 and Creative Web Cam

Hi, Finally I have been able to resolve the issue by uninstalling the driver
and all other webcam related folders from the PC, restarting and then
connecting the webcam back to the PC.

Windows launches the ADD NEW HARDWARE wizard and make it to search for the
drivers including the Internet. It gave me a list of drivers including one
available at Windows Update.

I installed the driver from Windows Update and have not had a problem since
then.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks but I have already tried all the solutions given on Creative website
and what I could find on the web. I have also contacted Windows live support,
but they were also not able to help much.

Right now trying to resolve this issue with Creative Support team for the
last month or so, still trying to see if this resolves the issue or not.

Thanks

This is caused by a bad driver. Uninstall your current web cam driver and
reinstall latest version. Here is a quote from Creative site:
Go to C:\Windows folder delete the contents of the TWAIN and TWAIN_32
folders and reboot then reinstall your drivers.
