Messenger will allow you to transfer a file of any size (well there is a limit which I've
forgotten, but it's rather astrometrical).
Just remember that Messenger does not have resume (with the exception of Windows Live
Messenger's Sharing Folders which do), so if you were to get disconnected, you would have to
start over again from the beginning.

A friend of mine told me to open a channel with IM under MSN that will
allow him to retrieve my movie files(1.2 g per movie). Can it really do
that especially for large movie files? He said the speed is fast also.
How is this possible? I've never used IM for MSN. Thanks for input.
