Messenger Causes Wireless Network DIsconnections
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
Hi,
I have a laptop that connects via a wireless router. If MSN Messenger
is signed in, the laptop is disconnected from the internet every once
in a while. I am sre of this because I left the machine connected
last night, with a script pinging the router very five minutes, and the
machine was connected all night.
Symptoms:
-If MSN Messenger is signed in, my wireless network disconnects.
-After disconnection, the connection may be renewed, but usually isn't.
-A PC in my house, also connected via wireless to the router, works
fine (MSN Messenger and all).
Any thoughts?
