Re: Messenger Live new ID?

Jonathan,

Thanks.

Is it me or is it not obvious to do this from within Microsoft Live ?

With MSN messenger it seemed much more straight forward to find the option.

Regards,

Paul

Greetings Paul,

You can still create a Passport (or Windows Live ID) from any e-mail
account. Just do so here:

Hi,

I have upgraded from MSN Messenger to Windows Live Messenger and want to
create a new login ID. As in the past with MSN messenger I logged out of
my existing account and selected the option to create a new account. In
the past you have had the option to create a new login ID with
MSN/Hotmail etc or use an existing email address which was always my
preferred option.

I notice now with Windows live messenger you can only create a hotmail ID
and the option to use an existing email address is no longer there?

I do I go about creating a new ID using a non MSN or Hotmail address?

Regards,

Paul
