contacts

I have a friend who is on my contact list, and she has me on hers (i know
this as she's messaged me when i come online, and yes this is a good friend
i've known since childhood so i can trust this). However, when i go into
privacy etc under options to see who has added me to their list, she does
not show on there. Why would this be ?? And how accurate is this list?
