Re: MSN Messenger 7.5 --> Windows Live Messenger 8.0 Question

I dont think your right Jonathan Kay, because of the compatibilty issues
that WLM wont work on Windows 9x, they will not be forced to upgrade.

I think this was covered in the beta chat

But i might be wrong.

Hi,

Yes it will be, in about a month -- which is the standard time for this.

I've got a few people asking me whether or not users of MSN Messenger 7.5
will be "pushed" to Windows Live Messenger 8.0 (via the "A new version of
Messenger is available" toast), or if they'll be able to stick with their
MSN Messenger 7.5 client.

I haven't heard much regarding this and what I have heard could be summed
up
to be a bit confusing, so I'm just looking on some clarification.

Thanks in advance and have a great day! :-)
