Greetings,
If you're using MSN (I assume you mean MSN Explorer or MSN Premium), it will automatically
reinstall Messenger when you run it. This is by design.

oI have read the posts here and did the download program to remove Messenger.
However after reboot and connecting to MSN, Messenger re-installed it self! I
have no use for Messenger, I do not want it, I wish it would go away, etc!!!
When I deleted it MSN told me it could not find my log-on info, it then
connected me to MSN but would not allow e-mail etc. I rebotted again and got
logged on okay but there was messenger again. I have it set up so I never
appear on-line but it signs itself in, I sign out and 5 min later it signs
itself back in again. Does anyone know how to bury this program forever,
without screwing up other functions? I do not use outlook eithere.
Dave
