Actually it's designed to accommodate whatever bandwidth is available from narrowband speeds
all the way to ~100Kbps (or similar, I don't actually know for a fact what Office
Communicator is doing).
Even the standard 10Mbps local network should be fine and unless your network has some high
bandwidth applications going on, I would expect you wouldn't even notice Messenger video
occurring.

Does anyone know what the maximum video bandwidth requirements are for
Windows and Office Messenger? I would like to set up my office with video
conferencing but I want to make sure I have the maximum amount of bandwidth
