Re: changing the display name of My Contacts

Greetings,

In Windows Messenger you cannot. Using MSN Messenger 6.x+ and Messenger Plus
(http://msgplus.net), you can change the display names of your contacts.

However, in Windows Live Messenger (currently in beta, you can grab a copy here:
http://ideas.live.com/signup.aspx?versionId=0eccd94b-eb48-497c-8e60-c6313f7ebb73), this
feature is built-in. You can use it by right-clicking a contact and choosing 'Add a
Nickname'.
