I recently installed a new SATA drive and used Ghost to migrate the data
from
my old drive. Everything is working great except for MSN Messenger 7.5
and
Beta 8.0. Beta 8.0 will install, but not run at all. I tried
uninstalling,
reinstalling and repairing the client without success. I'm also having
the
same problem with MSN 7.5, however when the client launches there is an
error
message 'msidcrl40.dll is not found'. Again, I tried uninstalling,
reinstalling and repairing the client without success. I can't find any
information on this problem or on the .dll on Microsoft's website. Any
ideas?
