Settings

Hi, here is my problem:
each time i disconnect, messenger loses its setting, my personal image for example, and it put one image from the default ones.
I tried to uninstall it and to delete the folder under E:\Documents and Settings\my user_name\Dati applicazioni\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\folder,
but nothing changed.
I'm using MSN 8 Live (i must say that this problem started after i did some changes to local policies, but no one of them was related to MSN)
