[WinMsg 4.7] Can receive files but can't send them

A contact sent me a picture, and I was able to receive it. When I tried sending him a picture, the transfer failed. Any idea why and how I can fix it? I tried sending another picture of different format, and that failed also. He accepted the transfer and the transfer started and then failed.

Would upgrading to WinMsg 5.1 fix this problem, or is there something else that needs to be done?
