If key ports are showing as the problem that means it's unable to connect using the necessary
ports Messenger requires. This usually indicates the presence of a third-party firewall. If
you're unable to configure the firewall to give Messenger full access to the Internet
connection, I'd suggest uninstalling the firewall to see if you can at least get it to work,
and then go from there.

Help please, I can't log into MSN Messenger over wireles on laptop, but it
will work from another laptop on the same router. any ideas. It was working
fine, then I connected to another network, when I came home and reconnected
to the wireless it wouldn't connect.
The msn trouble shooter identify's something with the key ports
