remote assistance failed

Remote assistance failed please try later,,,, ,Is the message that comes up
on my screen when somebody sends an invite and wants assistance from me.
through msn messenger .

The strange thing is other pc.s can view my screen if i send them an
invitation ,But i can not for some reason view theire screens as the
assistance seems to work only one way.
I have tried with the firewall off ,With anti virus off , all remote
assistance boxes are checked .Windows messenger is also enabled.
Have checked the services list with a pc that is working correctly with
remote assistance.
Anybody any ideas on this . ------ win xp home . 3 pc.s in house 2 work
correctly .--------
