MSNMessenger and Outlook 2003

I currently have Windows Messenger installed on my MCE 2005 Gateway PC.
Also have Office Standard 2003.

I want to install MSN Messenger 7.5. I understand that it will not work
thru the MCE interface, but as someone suggested, I can log into Windows
Messenger when using MCE if I want Messaging

Currently I use a 56k dial up modem to connect to internet. It is setup on
4 user accounts (all administrators)to dial only if network connection is
not present. I do have built in network card but do not have anything
connected to it at this time.

Do I need to set my dialing properties to "never dial" in IE as someone
suggested or do I leave modem setup as is. Also, Outlook is setup to
connect thru phone line. I have a paid Hotmial Plus account but I have not
been accessing thru Outlook 2003. I have only been using Outlook to access
my POP3 account from local ISP.
