Audio problem with Canon Dv as webcam

Hye all,
I'm using a DV camera (canon mv530) with msn messenger 7.5 (and
windows) xp sp2 connected with IEEE

I can select the dv cam as a video device, and the video communication
works fine

My problem is that I can't set the audio in msn to use the built-in
microphone of the camera (the camera does not appear in the list of
possible microphone devices)

Why ??

When using window messenger (don(t know which release) I can first
select my dv camera as a video device, then in the audio config, I can
select the camera in the list of possible microphone devices. And This
works fine (except that with window messenger, I can't resize the video
window)

Any tips
(I can't use an external microphone on my sound card, that's why I want
to use the camera built-in microphone)
