Spyware software, Anti Virus software or indexing (Desktop Search) could slow
the transfer rate. In this case it's not blocking but your system is not
allowing the file to save as quickly as one would like. Try an FTP
connection and see if you get simmilar results. I'm not sure if MSN
MEssenger uses TFTP but if it does it could also be a local port sharing
issue.
