MSN Messenger disconnect

MSN Messenger (v 7.5) is constantly disconnecting and then
automatically reconnecting.

Any pointers on where I can look to try to resolve this problem.

Have searched Google and this newsgroup and found lots of references to
this problem but have not found a solution.
