Found my XP program was a pirated one, bought a new CD but now do not have some of the programs I had before.
Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Powerpoint aren't part of the Windows XP operating system. Microsoft Works isn't either. Some system manufacturers include those applications with the DEALER'S computer system offer, but they are seperate pakages as far as Microsoft is concerned.
Many of the same functions are available free as part of Open Office http://www.openoffice.org/
Hey1 I mentioned that the Office apps were available as seperate packages. That's more mention than Mosaic and Netscape Navigator got in Windows 95!
