Help loggin onto messanger

I just downloaded the latest update for msn messanger and as soon as
it finished downloading it will not log on anymore.

I get the problem saying: Sorry we are unable to sign you into the MSN
Messanger at this time. Please try again later. 80072efd

What do i do to fix this problem? and if you could explain it in
dummy terms so i can understand that would be awesome
