Re: messenger shows me online

Greetings Diana,

What exactly are you ending in the task manager? Windows Messenger (msmsgs.exe) can and will
load into the background if it's called upon and with the exception of the msmsgs.exe process
running, you'll never know it's doing this until someone actually sends you a message.

If you want a quick fix, you can simply remove your saved Passport so it can't automatically
sign you in. To do so, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then, click
User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select the Windows account name in question, and then on
the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In
the window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'.
