Cannot deploy 5.1 to 2000 pro machines using GPO

Hi

I am trying to deploy Windows Messenger to a mixed XP Pro / 2000 Pro
environment using AD GPO (Our Active Directory is 2000).

The messenger.msi straight from the download site deploys perfectly to the
XP machines but not to 2000 pro. On the 2000 Pro machines Messenger is in the
add/remove programs but there is no icon under start programs and there is no
c:\Program Files\Messenger directory structure.

I am using the assign method to deploy the package but I have tried
publishing also.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Rich
