Messenger 5.1 won't use login credentials

Messenger will not use my credentials that I login into my workstation with.
I log in through an active directory. Outlook knows this and doesn't ask me
for my username and password but messenger asks me everytime. In previous
versions this always worked but with 5.1 it does not.
