WM5 to save SIP password

Windows Messenger 5.1 used to communicate with 3rd party
SIP Proxy/Registrar. Registrar requires authorization,
and it works fine with both DIGEST and NTLM methods.
Except of one annoying thing. 'Save my password' checkbox
is not available if XP box is logged into Domain Controller.
This option is always available on a standalone host though.
Does anybody know how to change XP policy on saving
WM5 SIP credentials getting access to the 3rd party
SIP server being connected to the MS Domain Controller?
