Re: Messenger pop-up ads

I know this is a naive question.......
but is there a way, withing MSN Messenger 7,
to disable its own pop-up ads?

Even though this isn't the MSN Messenger forum:

It costs MSN money to run the servers (equipment, electricity, internet access, staff salary & wages). The advertisers on messenger and the advertisers at other msn sites advertised on messenger supply the funds to meet these costs. MSN subscriber fees don't meet all of the service's costs AND a lot of msn Messenger users are using free passport accounts.

So if you don't want to help MSN earn ad revenue, use another IM.
