I have individual email accounts with my ISP for each user. When I create
my Internet connection I use the signing name and password of the main email
account (the account that we registered under with ISP. This connection is
then used by everyone on my PC. Then I setup my own individual email account
(I am administrator).
I seem to always have trouble login in properly to Windows and Internet. I
am wondering if I need to register the main email account in my
administrator profile as a passport--the signing name and password that I
use to access the internet--to get Windows XP Professional to log in
properly. I then would setup the actual email account in the individual
user profile for email access. In other words, I would not actually setup
the main email account in Outlook in my admin profile, that would be my own
email account which I also registered as passport.
I guess what I am actually getting at is if I need to register the user name
as a passport that I use to sign into Windows with in the Admin profile as
well as in the individual limited user account since this is the username
that Windows is using to sign onto the Internet and was used to setup the
Internet connection.
Also, is the passport password suppose to be the same as the actual email
password that is used to access the individual email accounts? I created a
different password when registering for passport, but used the email account
name.
