Audio Difficulties in MSN Messenger

I hope someone can help me. My sister and I just got webcams for Xmas so
that we can talk across the miles. I was installing and configuring them
today, and I got the video to work in both of them, but the audio can only be
heard through 1 pc and not the other, despite the fact that it says the audio
connection is established. Currently, both PCs are running through my home
network (since she's home visiting). We're using a Siemans router, MSN
Messenger 6.2. I've checked the hardware to make sure it works, and the mics
on both pcs work,so that's not the problem. I've tried turning the
firewalls off temporarily to see if that would help. Incidently, we're both
running Windows XP, one home edition, one professional. They both meet the
hardware requirements. I'm at a loss. Can anyone please help. She's
leaving in a few days, and we have to get this fixed. Thanks in advance.
