MSN messenger Crashing after SP2 install

After installing SP2 MSN will start up after log in and run for 5 sec before
windows
says it has to shut it down. Ive tried reinstalling MSN (6.2) and that
does'nt fix it
I've scanned for spyware (I have several programes for this) and this does
nothing
my brother is running into the same problem. Help Please!
