Greetings CK,

MSN Messenger (on Windows XP) has two different video modes; the "Webcam" option which is
compatible with all Windows versions but requires MSN Messenger 6.x and a "Video Conference"
option which is only available on XP but is compatible with Windows Messenger.

As such, have your friend click the Actions menu in MSN Messenger and choose "Start Video
Conference" instead.
