Messenger will not work over wireless network

Hi All

I have a Netgear Router/Modem (DG834G) connected to my PC through a Netgear
NIC (FA311). My daughter connects to the router via an Wireless Adapter
(WG121)

We both have Sygate Firewall installed. The problem is although I have no
problem using Windows Messenger, my daughter's Messenger will not connect to
the network. If she drops her Firewall, then it works OK but the problem
then is she gets all the nasties coming down.

Any ideas why this would be and how to rectify it? Both the firewalls are
configured to allow Messenger and the router is configured to allow TCP
connections to port 1863.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks....
