Sounds a bit weird. Closest thing i could reproduce is no more than 5
seconds. I did it by writing a program that continuously writes gibberish to
file.
It sounds like an extreme case low system resources, and since it doesn't
happen in ICQ/Yahoo...
I'm not sure.
