Messenger pop up accounts

I have all same problems with messenger as you guys.
Needs registry fix but I don't know what. I did get rid
of password caching though. Anyway I was so fed up I got
rid of messenger altogether with the Windows add/substract
components facility. Will same happen with other instant
messaging programmes though?
