my problem is that when i start up my pc it appears theat MSN messenger and the old messenger are both running. there is no icon for the old messenger in the system tray, but when i connect th the internet the old messenger signs in instead of MSN messenger.
also in the process list in task manager there are "msnmsgr.exe" and "msmsgs.exe".
i can close the old messenger by ending the process but i would like to know how to stop it coming up at all.
i have checked the startup using msconfig and tried to uninstall the old messenger, but in both cases i could not find it.
