I downloaded and installed service pack 1a and now my
Windows Messenger is working but my Yahoo Messenger still
is not working. Right after it connects, it brings up the
error that it encountered a problem and has to close. My
Outlook tries to connect and just hangs forever and never
connects. AIM works most of the time but that will also
give an error sometimes. I don't get it.
I have Win XP Home Edition. I turned off NAV protection
for all IM's. I have uninstalled YM, restarted and
installed the most current version. I started having the
problem mid May when Windows Messenger kept saying it
encountered an error every few seconds. At that time my
YM and Outlook Express still worked but after about a
week my YM and Outlook stopped working as well. If
anyone gets the fix, please post it. Thank you! Michelle
