My colleague and I are still struggling to get Windows Messenger video
working. If he initiates the video call, the connection proceeds and works
OK although it takes a long time for the cameras to turn on. If I initiate
the video call the connection is not established and nothing happens. We are
both running XP Pro inside UPnP routers on cable modems. We have QoS enabled
and are set for http proxy server. If the connection fails, retry does not
work, we have to sign out and resign in by restarting Windows Messenger. We
have found that I must disable Zone Alarm in order for my picture to be
clear at his end even tho I have Zone Alarm set to allow Messenger thru. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Larry
