HELP!!!! I use MSN Messenger, but it would seem that Windows Messenger is constantly running in the background. Despite having removed the components from Windows setup and disabling Messenger - it's still there. When I sign in to MSN Messenger, I get the message "You have been signed out of the .NET Messenger Service because you are signed on at another location". How do I stop this? Sometimes, I just want to go on-line without any of my contacts knowing, but because of this, there is no hiding!!! Oh, yes, and I have never actually run or installed Windows Messenger - it was just there.
Any advice gratefully appreciated.
Alison
