I really can't understand why so many see Messenger as a pesky/pesty thing..
it is great for keeping in touch with friends and others while online.. I
have used MSN/Windows Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, AOL Buddy and ICQ for
years now and would not be without at least one of them..
