Hi,
I think the way Messenger works is, it first tries to sign into the SIP
communicaiton service and then ask for the username ans password
authentication, In your case because it cant find the service it doesn't go
further...
Can you look into the Event Viewer > Application to see what error messages
are you getting there ?
